VNC1L-1A-REEL is an embedded USB host controller IC. It handles USB host interface and data transfer functions and features an integrated 8/32-bit MCU and embedded flash memory, which allows it to efficiently manage various USB unit classes. Typical applications include adding USB host capability to embedded products, interfacing USB flash drives with MCUs, PLDs, or FPGAs, enabling file transfers between USB flash drives, connecting digital cameras to USB flash drives or other USB devices, and linking PDAs, MP3 players, or mobile phones to USB flash drives or other USB server devices. It is also suitable for interfacing GPS devices with mobile phones, integrating USB flash drives with instrumentation, and connecting data loggers or set-top boxes to USB devices. Additionally, it can be used for GPS trackers with USB flash disk storage.
