The MAX11116AUT+T is a 3Msps, low power, serial 8bit analogue to digital converter (ADC) in 6 pin SOT-23 package. This compact, high-speed, low power, successive approximation analogue to digital converter is high performance converter which includes a high dynamic range sample and hold and a high-speed serial interface. This ADC accepts a full scale input from 0V to the power supply or to the reference voltage. This single-channel device generate the reference voltage internally from the power supply it also include full power down mode and fast wake up for optimal power management and a high-speed 3wire serial interface. The excellent dynamic performance, low voltage and ease of use makes converter ideal for portable battery powered data acquisition, medical instrumentation applications and also used for other applications that demand low power consumption and minimal space.
- Supply voltage range is 2.2V to 3.6V
- Operating temperature range from -40°C to 125°C
- No pipeline delay, full-power bandwidth at -3dB point is 40MHz
- Low noise SNR of 49.5dB at fAIN = 1MHz
- Variable I/O of 1.5V to 3.6V (dual channel only) allows serial interface to connect digital systems
- Low power of 5.2mW at 3Msps, very low power consumption at 2.5µA/Ksps
- Power down current is 1.3µA
- SPI/QSPI/MICROWIRE compatible serial interface
- INL and DNL is ±0.25LSB
- Conversion time is 260ns
