AD8224BCPZ-WP is a precision, dual-channel, JFET input, rail-to-rail instrumentation amplifier. It requires the same board area as a typical single instrumentation amplifier yet doubles the channel density and offers a lower cost per channel without compromising performance. This device’s rail-to-rail output stage maximizes dynamic range on the low voltage supplies common in portable applications. Its ability to run on a single 5V supply eliminates the need for higher voltage, dual supplies. It draws 750µA of quiescent current per amplifier, making it ideal for battery-powered devices. It is used in applications such as medical instrumentation, precision data acquisition, transducer interfaces, differential drives for high-resolution input ADCs, and remote sensors.

- 4kV ESD protection, gain set with single resistor (G = 1 to 1000)
- Operating voltage range from ±2.25V to ±18V
- Input voltage noise is 14nV/√Hz typical at (VIN+, VIN- = 0V, TA = 25°C)
- Common mode rejection ratio is 86dB minimum at (G = 1, TA = 25°C)
- Gain nonlinearity is 8ppm typical at (G = 1, RL = 10Kohm, TA = 25°C)
- Quiescent current (per amplifier) is 750µA typical at (VS+ = +15V, VS- = -15V)
- 1500KHz typical -3dB small signal bandwidth at (G = 1, VS+ = +15V, VS- = -15V)
- Slew rate is 2V/µs minimum at (VS+ = +15V, VS- = -15V, TA = 25°C)
- Operating temperature range from -40°C to +85°C, 16-lead LFCSP package
