AD7924WYRUZ-REEL7 is a 12bit, high-speed, low-power, 4-channel successive approximation ADC. This part operates from a single 2.7V to 5.25V power supply and features throughput rates upto 1MSPS. The part contains a low noise, wide bandwidth track-and-hold amplifier that can handle input frequencies in excess of 8MHz. The conversion process and data acquisition are controlled using active-low CS and the serial clock signal, allowing the device to easily interface with microprocessors or DSPs. The input signal is sampled on the falling edge of active-low CS and conversion is initiated at this point. There are no pipeline delays associated with the part. It uses advanced design techniques to achieve very low power dissipation at maximum throughput rates. At maximum throughput rates, this device consumes 2mA maximum with 3V supplies; with 5V supplies, the current consumption is 2.7mA maximum.

- Integral nonlinearity is ±1LSB maximum at (AVDD = VDRIVE = 2.7V to 5.25V, REFIN = 2.5V)
- Power dissipation (normal mode) is 13.5mW maximum at (AVDD = 5V, fSCLK = 20MHz)
- Track-and-hold acquisition time is 300ns maximum at (sine wave input)
- Aperture jitter is 50ps typical at (AVDD = VDRIVE = 2.7V to 5.25V, REFIN = 2.5V)
- Operating temperature range from -40°C to +125°C, 16-lead TSSOP package
