AD5683RARMZ-RL7 is a low-power, single-channel, 16-bit buffered voltage output, nanoDAC+® digital-to-analogue converter (DAC). The internal power-on reset circuit ensures that the DAC register is written to zero scale at power-up while the internal output buffer is configured in normal mode. This device contains a power-down mode that reduces the current consumption of the device to 2µA (maximum) at 5V and provides software-selectable output loads while in power-down mode. It uses a versatile 3-wire serial interface that operates at clock rates of upto 50MHz. It is used in applications such as process controls, data acquisition systems, digital gain and offset adjustment, and programmable voltage sources.

- Digital-to-analogue glitch impulse is 0.1nV-sec typ at (VDD = 2.7V to 5.5V, RL = 2Kohm to GND)
- Slew rate is 0.7V/µs typical at (VDD = 2.7V to 5.5V, RL = 2Kohm to GND)
- Offset error is ±1.5mV typical at (VDD = 2.7V to 5.5V, RL = 2Kohm to GND)
- Load regulation is 10µV/mA typical at (5V, DAC code = midscale; -30mA ≤ IOUT ≤ +30mA)
