M1AGL1000-DEV-KIT is a Cortex™-M1-enabled IGLOO development kit which is an advanced MPU-based FPGA development and evaluation kit. The architecture provides access to a onechip FPGA solution that includes a Cortex-M1 32-bit RISC processor as well as digital peripheral components. This development kit is ideal for development and verification of embedded MPU-based systems or subsystems, product development platforms, and algorithm development. The Cortex™-M1-enabled IGLOO development board has on-board voltage regulations, enabling you to set some of the I/O bank voltages independently. A regulator circuit on the board facilitates control of the core voltage. The core voltage can be switched manually or electronically for programming purposes and returned to the 1.2V setting for the lowest power consumption. Detailed current monitoring capabilities of development kit allow you to directly measure low current consumption and validate your design's performance while using IGLOO devices.
- 1 million system gates, M1AGL1000V2 device in FGG484 package
- Oscillator for system clock is provided
- Eight LEDs and eight switches provide simple inputs and outputs to the system
- USB programming and debug connection
- Second USB connection for USB-to-serial (RS232) interface, also allows powering of the board
- Optional board power CONN for an external supply, but none is needed when connected to USB cable
- Memory devices: 4MB of SRAM provided on board and 16MB of flash memory provided on board
- Three 40-pin GPIO banks are provided for interfacing to other equipment
- Programmer built into board via USB 2.0 connection
