ATXMEGAC3-XPLD Xplained evaluation kit is a hardware platform for evaluating the ATxmega384C3 microcontroller. AVR XMEGA is a family of low power, high performance, and peripheral rich 8/16bit microcontrollers based on the AVR enhanced RISC architecture. By executing instructions in a single clock cycle, the AVR XMEGA devices achieve CPU throughput approaching one million instructions per second (MIPS) per megahertz, allowing the system designer to optimize power consumption versus processing speed. The kit offers a range of features that enable the AVR XMEGA user to get started using AVR XMEGA peripherals right away and understand how to integrate the AVR XMEGA device in their own design.
