CY8CKIT-024 is a CapSense™ proximity shield kit which is an Arduino compatible evaluation platform for CapSense™ based proximity sensing solutions. The CY8CKIT-024 enables to evaluate proximity sensing capabilities of Cypress's industry leading CapSense™ solutions. Designed to work with Cypress PSoC Pioneer kits, can evaluate advanced proximity sensing features including liquid tolerance, wake-on-approach and gesture detection using 5 proximity loops on the CY8CKIT-024. The PSoC 4 is Cypress's newest ARM-based PSoC, featuring the low power Cortex-M0 core combined with PSoC's unique programmable mixed signal hardware IP, resulting in industry's most flexible and scalable low power mixed signal architecture. The CY8CKIT-024 is designed to work with the Cypress PSoC Pioneer kits allowing to prototype advanced systems which feature proximity sensing capabilities (for e.g. a motor control system which is controlled by gestures).
- 1 proximity loop for large proximity-sensing distance (~10cm)
- 4 proximity sensors for horizontal and vertical gesture detection
- Driven shield for large proximity-sensing distance/liquid tolerance
