ADCMP572BCPZ-WP is an ultrafast comparator. It is fabricated on Analog Devices, Inc., proprietary XFCB3 Silicon Germanium (SiGe) bipolar process. It features CML output drivers and latch inputs. A flexible power supply scheme allows both devices to operate with a single 3.3V positive supply and a -0.2V to +1.2V input signal range or with split input/output supplies to support a wider -0.2 V to +3.2V input signal range and an independent range of output levels. 50 ohm on-chip termination resistors are provided at both inputs with the optional capability to be left open (on an individual pin basis) for applications requiring high impedance inputs. It is widely used in applications such as clock and data signal restoration and level shifting, automatic test equipment (ATE), high speed instrumentation, pulse spectroscopy, medical imaging and diagnostics, high speed line receivers, threshold detection, peak and zero-crossing detectors, high speed trigger circuitry etc.

- Overdrive and slew rate dispersion is 15ps typical at (50mV <lt/> VOD <lt/> 0.2V, 5V/ns)
- Equivalent input rise time bandwidth is 8GHz typical, differential latch control
- Minimum pulse width is 80ps typical at (∆tPD/∆PW <lt/> 10ps, 200mV OD), differential latch control
- Output rise/fall time is 35ps typical, resistor-programmable hysteresis
- Deterministic jitter is 10ps typical at (VOD = 200mV, 5V/ns)
- Random jitter (RJ) is 200fs typical
- On-chip terminations at both input pins, robust inputs with no output phase reversal
- Operating temperature is -40°C to +125°C
- Package style is 16-lead frame chip scale package [LFCSP-WQ]
