The 28-6518-10 is a 28-contact black Open Frame Socket with collet contacts, surface mount pins. The 518 series socket with gold-plated beryllium copper contacts, UL94V-0 glass-filled 4/6 nylon body. Open frame allows for more efficient utilization of board space and better cooling.
