Product Overview
ADAU1850 is a codec with three inputs and one output that incorporates one digital signal processor. The path from the analogue input to the DSP core to the analogue output is optimized for low latency and is ideal for noise cancelling earphones. With the addition of a few passive components, the device provides a complete headset solution. It is widely used in application such as noise cancelling handsets, headsets, and headphones, Bluetooth active noise cancelling (ANC) handsets, headsets, and headphones, personal navigation devices, digital still and video cameras, musical instrument effect processors, multimedia speaker systems, smartphones etc.
- Programmable FastDSP audio processing engine, upto 768KHz sample rate
- Biquad filters, limiters, volume controls, mixing, low latency, 24bit ADCs and DAC
- Signal-to-noise ratio is 106dB typical, internal RC oscillator supporting autocalibration
- Dynamic range (with A-weighted filter) is 110dB typical, 1-channel ASRCI, 3-channel ASRCO
- Serial port sample rates from 8KHz to 768KHz, 5μs analogue-to-analogue group delay
- Programmable, double precision MAC engine for 13-stage equalizer
- 3 analogue inputs (2 differential and 1 single-ended), configurable as microphone or line inputs
- Analog differential audio output, configurable as either line output or headphone driver
- PLL supporting any input clock rate from 30KHz to 27MHz
- Operating temperature is -40°C to +85°C, package style is 28 ball WLCSP
