Product Overview
AD8037 is a wide bandwidth, low distortion clamping amplifier. The AD8037 is stable at a gain of two or greater. This devices allow the designer to specify a high(VCH) and low(VCL) output clamp voltage. The output signal will clamp at these specified levels. Utilizing a unique patent pending CLAMPIN™ input clamp architecture, the AD8037 offer a 10 × improvement in clamp performance compared to traditional output clamping devices. Typical application includes ADC buffer, IF/RF signal processing, high quality imaging, broadcast video systems, video amplifier and full wave rectifier.
- Superb clamping characteristics: 3mV clamp error and 1.5ns overdrive recovery
- Minimized nonlinear clamping region
- 270MHz clamp input bandwidth, ±3.9V clamp input range
- Good DC characteristics: 2mV offset and 10µV//°C drift
- Ultra-low distortion, low noise of -72dBc typ at RL = 500 ohm
- 4.5nV/√Hz input voltage noise
- High speed: slew rate 1500V/µs
- Settling 10ns to 0.1%, 16ns to 0.01%
- ±3V to ±5V supply operation
- 8 lead SOIC package, operating temperature range from -40 to 85°C
