Product Overview
AD8021 is an exceptionally high performance, high speed voltage feedback amplifier that can be used in 16-bit resolution systems. This device is technically superior and priced considerably less than comparable amps drawing much higher quiescent current. It is a high speed, general-purpose amplifier, ideal for a wide variety of gain configurations and can be used throughout a signal processing chain and in control loops. It is widely used in application such as ADC preamps and drivers, instrumentation preamps, active filters, portable instrumentation, line receivers, precision instruments, ultrasound signal processing, high gain circuits etc.
- Input voltage noise is 2.1nV/√Hz
- Input current noise is 2.1pA/√Hz
- Constant bandwidth from G = −1 to G = −10
- Quiescent current is 7mA typ, wide operating supply range is 5V to 24V
- Quiescent current (output disable feature is 1.3mA typ)
- −3dB small signal bandwidth is 200MHz typ at (G = +5, CC = 2pF, VO = 0.05V p-p)
- Second harmonic is −93dB typ at fC = 1MHz, third harmonic is −108dB typ at fC = 1MHz
- Input offset voltage is 0.4mV typ, input offset voltage drift is 0.5μV/°C typ
- Operating temperature is −40°C to +85°C
