AD820 is a single supply, low power, FET input op-amp. It has true single-supply capability, with an input voltage range extending below the negative rail, allowing the op-amp to accommodate input signals below ground in the single-supply mode. Output voltage swing extends to within 10mV of each rail, providing maximum output dynamic range. It allows the amplifier to handle a wide range of load conditions. This combination of ac and dc performance, plus the outstanding load drive capability, results in an exceptionally versatile amplifier for the single-supply user. It is mainly used in application such as battery-powered precision instrumentation, photodiode preamps, active filters, 12bit to 14bit data acquisition systems, medical instrumentation, low power references and regulators etc.
- Input voltage range extends below ground, initial offset is 0.1mV
- Single-supply capability is 5V to 30V, dual-supply capability is ±2.5V to ±15V
- Excellent load drive, capacitive load drive upto 350pF
- Minimum output current is 15mA
- Excellent ac performance for low power
- Quiescent current is 800μA max, low noise is 13nV/√Hz at 10KHz
- Unity-gain bandwidth is 1.8 MHz, slew rate is 3V/μs
- Excellent dc performance, input offset voltage is 800μV max
- Offset voltage drift is 2μV/°C typ, input bias current is 25pA maximum
- Operating temperature is −40°C to +85°C, package style is 8-lead PDIP
