AD8044 is a quad, low power, voltage feedback, high speed amplifier. It has true single-supply capability with an input voltage range extending 200mV below the negative rail and within 1V of the positive rail. The output voltage swing extends to within 25mV of each rail, providing the maximum output dynamic range. This makes the AD8044 useful for video electronics, such as cameras, video switchers, or any high speed portable equipment. It is low distortion and fast settling make it ideal for active filter applications. This features ideally suited for portable and battery-powered applications where size and power are critical. Application includes active filters, video switchers, distribution amplifiers, A/D driver, professional cameras, CCD imaging systems, ultrasound equipment (multichannel).
- Output swings to within 25mV of either rail

- No phase reversal with inputs 1V beyond supplies
- Low power of 2.75mA/amplifier, high speed and fast settling on +5V
- Typical -3dB small signal bandwidth, VO <lt/> 0.5V p-p is 150MHz (G = +1)
- Slew rate is 170V/ms (typ, G = –1, VO = 4V step, TA = +25°C)
- Settling time to 1% is 30ns (typ, G = –1, VO = 2V step, TA = +25°C)
- Good video specifications (RL = 150 ohm, G = +2)
- Gain flatness of 0.1dB to 12MHz, differential gain error is 0.04% (typ, G = +2)
- 14 lead SOIC package, operating temperature range from -40 to +85°C
