AD8017 is a low cost, dual high speed amplifier capable of driving low distortion signals to within 1.0V of the supply rail. It is intended for use in single supply xDSL systems where low distortion and low cost is essential. The amplifiers will be able to drive a minimum of 200mA of output current per amplifier. Fabricated in ADI’s high speed XFCB process, the high bandwidth and fast slew rate of the AD8017 keep distortion to a minimum, while dissipating a minimum amount of power. The quiescent current of the AD8017 is 7mA/amplifier. Low distortion, high output voltage drive, and high output current drive make the AD8017 ideal for use in low cost Customer Premise End (CPE) equipment for ADSL, SDSL, VDSL and proprietary xDSL systems. Application includes xDSL PCI cards, consumer DSL modems, line driver, video distribution.

- 1600V/µs typical slew rate (noninverting, VOUT = 4V p-p, G = +2, 25°C)
- Typical -3dB bandwidth is 160MHz (G = +2, VOUT <lt/> 0.4V p-p, 25°C)
- 35ns typical settling time ( 0.1%, VOUT = 4V step, 25°C)
- Typical second harmonic distortion is -78dBc (VOUT = 2V p-p, 500KHz, RL = 100 ohm/25ohm)
- Typical MTPR is -66dBc (26KHz to 1.1MHz, 25°C)
- Typical input noise voltage is 1.9nV/√Hz (f = 10KHz, 25°C)
- 1.8mV typical input offset voltage (25°C, VS = 6V, RL = 100 ohm)
- 8 lead thermal coastline SOIC package, operating temperature range from -40°C to +85°C
